In the run-up to Assam Assembly polls, unidentified miscreants hurled a grenade at the residence of BJP's Sarupathar candidate and incumbent MLA Biswajit Phukan at Changpool in Golaghat district today.However, a major disaster was averted as the grenade failed to explode.
