TVS Motor Company reports 27% growth in Q2 sales

TVS Motor Company (TVSM), part of TVS VENU, reported a 27% growth in two-wheeler sales during the second quarter of FY2026-27, with sales rising to 1.8 million units from 1.5 million units in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company recorded total quarterly sales of 1.9 million units. Three-wheeler sales increased 47% to 78,475 units from 53,449 units, while international business grew 35% to 539,000 units from around 400,000 units.

Electric two-wheeler sales emerged as a key growth driver, increasing 133% to 186,000 units during the quarter.

For September 2026, TVS Motor reported a 24% rise in total sales to 672,790 units from 541,064 units in September 2025. Two-wheeler sales grew 23% to 645,955 units, including a 17% increase in domestic two-wheeler sales to 482,073 units.

Electric two-wheeler sales surged 110% to 65,799 units from 31,266 units. International business sales rose 48% to 180,700 units, with international two-wheeler sales also growing 48% to 163,882 units.

Three-wheeler sales increased 57% to 26,835 units from 17,141 units in September 2025.
