State-run Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has strengthened its vigilance and monitoring framework across the country as demand for LPG and fuel supplies continues to rise, the company said on Thursday. According to HPCL, the company delivered 362 lakh LPG cylinders nationwide between April 1 and April 29, 2026, including 12.7 lakh cylinders on April 29 alone. To support the large-scale distribution network, HPCL dispatched 2,16,507 tankers during the period, including 9,522 tankers in a single day.
