One person was killed, and four others were seriously injured in mob violence in Gaurinagar, Kokrajhar district, Assam, on January 19. The deceased, Sikhna Jwhwlao Bismit, was from Bagaribari. The violence erupted around 7:30 PM following an altercation between two groups, escalating when a Scorpio vehicle was set on fire.
