The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) launched an intensive crackdown against trafficking of contraband goods over three days and seized ganja worth over Rs 29 lakh recently, NFR sources confirmed. “During intensive checks and operations conducted from April 20 to 22, 2026, RPF teams recovered nearly 60 kg of ganja worth over Rs 29 lakh from different railway stations under NFR jurisdiction,” a statement issued by NFR on Sunday said. “In addition, three persons involved in illegal transportation of ganja were apprehended and handed over to the respective GRP outpost for further necessary action to be…
