Bata India reported a 23% year-on-year rise in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs. 637 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 517 million in the corresponding quarter last year, as the footwear major continued its growth momentum for the third consecutive quarter. Revenue rose around 4% year-on-year to Rs. 9,789 million in Q1 FY27. Profit before tax excluding one-offs increased over 22% to Rs. 906 million from Rs. 745 million.
