Tata Motors Ltd. reported a strong first quarter for FY27, with standalone revenue rising 23% year-on-year to ₹19,329 crore and EBITDA increasing 17% to ₹2,300 crore, despite severe commodity-cost pressures. PBT before exceptional items rose 26% to ₹2,057 crore, while profit after tax stood at ₹1,500 crore. The commercial vehicle maker generated ₹1,114 crore in free cash flow during the quarter, an improvement of ₹2,910 crore from Q1 FY26.
