JawaYezdi Motorcycles has announced that its recently launched Jawa 42 Ivory motorcycle is now available for booking through Amazon.in and Flipkart, expanding access to customers across India through online channels. The company said the move is aimed at simplifying the purchase process for motorcycle enthusiasts by allowing them to reserve the vehicle online before completing registration, insurance and delivery formalities through authorised dealerships. The Jawa 42 Ivory is currently available for booking in 118 cities, supported by a network of 130 dealerships handling e-commerce enquiries.
The motorcycle has generated strong interest since its launch, with owners citing its retro-inspired styling, distinctive ivory colour scheme and neo-classic design as key attractions. Built on the Jawa 42 platform, the Ivory edition features signature ‘42’ decals, a checkered flag motif and a pastel finish that draws inspiration from classic motorcycles while incorporating modern elements. Powered by a liquid-cooled J-Panther engine paired with a six-speed gearbox, the motorcycle offers enhanced performance, acceleration and rideability. It also comes equipped with an assist and slipper clutch, along with braking and handling systems tuned for Indian road conditions. Priced at Rs 1,84,950 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the 2026 Jawa 42 Ivory is backed by the company’s Ownership Assurance Programme, which includes a four-year/50,000-km standard warranty, extended warranty options, roadside assistance and annual maintenance coverage.
The expansion of online motorcycle bookings is expected to resonate with buyers in Kolkata and eastern India, where demand for premium and lifestyle motorcycles has been steadily growing. Industry observers note that digital purchasing channels are increasingly influencing vehicle-buying decisions among younger consumers in the region. The availability of the Jawa 42 Ivory on major e-commerce platforms could help the brand strengthen its presence in Kolkata’s competitive mid-size motorcycle market, where retro-styled motorcycles continue to attract urban riders seeking a blend of heritage design and modern performance.
