A couple in Odisha sells their newborn girl for money

A newborn girl was allegedly sold by her parents for Rs 12,000 in Odisha's Jajpur district.Accoding to the report,  the couple has three daughters, they sold their newborn for Rs 12,000 to a childless couple of Mahakalapada in Kendrapara district soon after the baby was born at the community health centre.The health centre was not aware of the alleged sale.An investigation was ordered, the father told the reporters, "We already have three children. Rajasthan recorded 10,437 fresh COVID-19 cases and 22 deaths on Saturday.According to the reports,  Jaipur (four), Udaipur (three), Kota, Jhunjhunu and Bikaner (two each), Ajmer, Barmer, Bharatpur, Dausa, Jalore, Jodhpur, Karauli, Rajsamand and Tonk (one each).A  maximum of 2,408 cases were reported from Jaipur followed by 999 in Jodhpur, 746 in Alwar, 572 in Kota and 567 in Udaipur. Rests of the cases were reported from other districts of the state.The number of active cases in the state is 74,849.

Madhya Pradesh government have directed FIR against Amazon

The Madhya Pradesh government has directed the police to register FIR against Amazon and its owner for allegedly selling products, including shoes, with the image of the Indian national flag. "It has come to my notice that our national flag is used on products being sold by the online e-commerce platform Amazon. It is intolerable that even it (the national flag) has been used on shoes," Mr Mishra, who is the state government spokesman, told reporters. "I have directed Director General of Police (DGP) to file an FIR against Amazon's officials and owner," Mr Mishra added.
