Tata Motors Ltd. reported a strong first quarter for FY27, with standalone revenue rising 23% year-on-year to ₹19,329 crore and EBITDA increasing 17% to ₹2,300 crore, despite severe commodity-cost pressures. PBT before exceptional items rose 26% to ₹2,057 crore, while profit after tax stood at ₹1,500 crore. The commercial vehicle maker generated ₹1,114 crore in free cash flow during the quarter, an improvement of ₹2,910 crore from Q1 FY26. Bata India reported a 23% year-on-year rise in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs. 637 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 517 million in the corresponding quarter last year, as the footwear major continued its growth momentum for the third consecutive quarter. Revenue rose around 4% year-on-year to Rs. 9,789 million in Q1 FY27. Profit before tax excluding one-offs increased over 22% to Rs. 906 million from Rs. 745 million.
