Amazon India has launched Aurora, a program aimed at leveraging the unique talents of individuals with learning disabilities and providing meaningful, sustained employment. The program, which began with a pilot with Sol's ARC, a non-profit organization in Mumbai, has already employed over 35 associates at Amazon's fulfillment center, sortation center, and delivery station area. Amazon India plans to onboard more people with learning disabilities this year. The program also focuses on building groundwork and support mechanisms, such as increasing employee awareness and inspiring employees to be allies to those with learning disabilities.
