Debolal Gorlosa, the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), officially opened two recently installed borewell-based water tank projects, a major step toward resolving the drinking water crisis in Haflong, the sole hill station in Assam. PWD 3rd Colony and Sengya Sambhudan Raji are the locations of the projects, each of which has a 24,000-liter storage capacity.
