The Morigaon police have arrested several individuals involved and attached bank accounts containing approximately ₹25 lakh as ordered by the court. The scammers, including a lecturer named Saiqul Islam, lured victims by spreading false promises on social media and conducting fake training sessions, initially charging ₹5,000 and later demanding ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 for issuing provisional and final appointment letters.
