Asian Energy Services Q1 profit jumps 129% to Rs 12.8 crore

Asian Energy Services Limited reported a strong start to FY27, with consolidated net profit for the first quarter rising 129% year-on-year to Rs 12.8 crore, while revenue surged 135% to Rs 271.2 crore.

EBITDA increased 81% year-on-year to Rs 21.9 crore, supported by strong execution, operating discipline and continued momentum across the company’s domestic and international operations. The company said its FY27 guidance for both Asian Energy Services and Kuiper remains unchanged.

As of June 30, 2026, Asian Energy’s standalone order book stood at Rs 1,754 crore, with around 60% coming from oil and gas services and 40% from mineral services, providing multi-year revenue visibility. Shareholders have approved the proposed Oilmax merger, which is expected to be completed by September-October 2026. The group has also been declared the preferred bidder for an offshore block and a critical mineral mine.

The company said it remains positioned to benefit from the government’s focus on domestic energy security, including initiatives such as Samudra Manthan, the ORDA Act and the Critical Minerals Mission. It also highlighted a major order secured from GSECL and a robust bid pipeline.

In Guwahati, the strong quarterly performance is likely to keep investor attention focused on energy, oil and gas and mining-linked companies, particularly those positioned to benefit from India’s push for domestic resource development.

Managing Director Dr Kapil Garg said the company had begun FY27 on a strong footing and was focused on creating long-term sustainable value.
