Sennes brings Cannes glamour to India with ‘Seen at Cannes’ showcase

Contemporary lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Sennes from the House of Senco has brought its Cannes 2026 red-carpet creation ‘Dewdrops’ to India through an exclusive showcase titled ‘Seen at Cannes’. The collection gained global attention after being unveiled by creator and style icon Rida Tharana during one of the most photographed appearances at the Cannes Film Festival. Inspired by the shimmer and fluidity of morning dewdrops, the custom-made jewellery piece features 105.5 carats of FG-VVS pear-shaped lab-grown diamonds set in 14-carat gold. Designed with cascading diamond placements and sculptural silhouettes, the collection was created to reflect movement, light and modern elegance.

The jewellery drew attention at Cannes for its understated luxury and fluid design language, standing apart amid the glamour and extravagance of the Riviera. Sennes said the creation aimed to blend timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary interpretation of luxury and conscious fashion. Speaking about the inspiration behind the collection, Joita Sen said the brand wanted to create jewellery that felt “pure, effortless and naturally radiant,” inspired by the softness and brilliance of morning dew.

The Cannes appearance also marked a major international milestone for Sennes, with the collection receiving visibility across global fashion platforms including Elle, Pinkvilla and Harper’s Bazaar. In Kolkata, the launch is expected to strengthen the city’s growing premium jewellery segment, especially among younger luxury buyers increasingly showing interest in lab-grown diamonds and design-led collections.Kolkata, known for its deep-rooted jewellery culture and strong gold retail market, could emerge as a key market for contemporary fine jewellery brands like Sennes.
