The Security Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) has launched a new portfolio of Wi-Fi and 4G-enabled surveillance cameras, marking a strategic expansion in India’s organised surveillance market as demand rises for connected, secure and compliant monitoring solutions.
The newly introduced range includes indoor security cameras as well as outdoor pan-tilt, dome and bullet cameras. Designed for residential, commercial and institutional users, the portfolio aims to provide seamless monitoring experiences with enhanced connectivity, reliability and ease of use. While Wi-Fi variants are targeted at connected homes and businesses, the 4G-enabled smart and solar cameras are designed for locations where broadband infrastructure is limited or unavailable.
According to the company, the launch comes at a time when India’s surveillance market is witnessing a shift from product-led adoption to experience-driven decision-making, with customers increasingly prioritising data security, regulatory compliance and integrated security solutions.
Commenting on the launch, PushkarGokhale, Business Head – Security Solutions at Godrej Enterprises Group, said the CCTV surveillance category is at a pivotal stage and is projected to surpass Rs 1,000 crore in the coming years. He said customers are increasingly seeking intuitive, dependable and secure solutions, while there is also growing preference for trusted India-manufactured products that ensure quality, data security and compliance.
Manufactured in India and certified under BIS-ER standards, the new portfolio reflects Godrej’s focus on building a connected and future-ready security ecosystem through innovation, engineering excellence and customer-centric design.
In Guwahati, the launch is expected to resonate with growing demand for advanced surveillance solutions among households, businesses and institutions across Assam. With increasing urbanisation, infrastructure development and heightened focus on safety, organised and compliant security products are gaining traction in the region, creating opportunities for technology-driven surveillance providers.
