Muzaffarnagar to observe ‘Janata curfew’ every Sunday

The Muzaffarnagar district administration has ordered a complete shutdown in the district on Sunday. District Magistrate Selvakumari J. said that it has been decided to impose 'Janata Curfew' and all business establishments, including shops, hotels and malls will remain closed every Sunday. The District Magistrate has warned that strict action will be taken against those found violating the curfew. A36-year-old man, who went to catch crabs and fish in the Sunderbans area on Saturday morning, died after a tiger attacked him when he was chopping firewood in the forest, an official said. Four forest officials suspended over elephant deaths in Chhattisgarh

The Chhattisgarh forest department has suspended four officials, including a sub-divisional forest officer (SDFO), over the deaths of three elephants which took place earlier this week.
