3-day training prog on scientific poultry farming

ICAR Nagaland Centre, Medziphema organised three-day training programme on “scientific backyard poultry farming for enhancing the tribal farmers income” on February 17 and 19. A press release by ICAR Nagaland centre, Medziphema stated that 27 participants from Chesezu village of Phek district attended the training programme. The training involved importance of scientific backyard poultry farming, housing management, brooding of chicks and feeding management. Meghalaya expects Rs 27 cr from mining lease

The Meghalaya Government expects to derive around Rs 27 crore additional revenue from lease holders of mines in the State who have been directed to pay the remaining of the 50 per cent stamp duty within March 31 on the close of the financial year.
