The Supreme Court on Wednesday stayed the contempt proceedings started by Delhi high court against Centre for non-compliance of direction on supply of 700 MT of medical grade oxygen for Covid-19 patients in the national capital.It asked the Union government to apprise it by tomorrow 10.30am, when the court assembles again, as to how it will make the plan to make 700 MT of oxygen available to Delhi. Karnataka yet again reported more than 40 thousand COVID-19 cases in a single day with 44,631 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 16,90,934, the state health department said on Tuesday. An improved section of the Mexico City Metro collapsed sending a metro that sank toward a busy boulevard late Monday night, City officials said at least 23 people were killed and 700 injured.
