Zydus Cadila to sell its India animal health business for Rs 2,921 crore

Zydus Cadila on Wednesday annou­nced ZAHL has entered into a business transfer agreement and transfer its animal healthcare unit to the Multiples-led consortium. The deal is to sell one of the two business undertakings of ZAHL on a going concern basis, for Rs 2,921 crore on a cash free and debt free basis, subject to certain closing date adjustments and other conditions. Reliance Jio adds more customers than Airtel in February

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has added more mobile phone customers than Bharti Airtel in February 2021, bucking a trend of losing to the Sunil Bharti Mittal-led telco for six straight months. Jio gained 4.26 million wireless subscribers compared with Airtel’s 3.73 million in February, data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) on Tuesday shows. In the month of January, Jio had added 1.9 million users while Airtel had added 5.8 million users. Financial results of Bandhan Bank for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2021 have been announced. The Bank’s total business (deposits and advances) grew 28% year-on-year to reach Rs.1.65 lakh crore at the end of FY2020-21. Bandhan Bank’s deposit book grew 37% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The total deposits now stand at Rs.77,972-crore.
