A report on child trafficking in India revealed that the average number of child trafficking cases in West Bengal has doubled since the Covid pandemic, from 35 to 72. Other states with increased cases include Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Delhi, and Rajasthan. The report, released jointly by Games24x7 and Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation (KSCF), founded by Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, highlights the growing issue of child trafficking in India.
