BigBasket B2C arm’s losses soar to Rs 1,535 Cr in FY23

Online grocery delivery firm Innovative Retail Concepts, which operates as BigBasket, widened its loss to Rs 1,535 crore for 2022-23, according to details shared by Toffler.Toffler said BigBasket's losses increased by 89%, which means that the company posted a loss of around Rs 812 crore in 2021-22. The company's revenue rose 5% to Rs 7,462 crore. “The company reported a net loss of Rs 1,535 crore in the same fiscal. This is an increase of 89% over the last fiscal year. The total expenditure of the company during the financial year was reported as Rs 8,998 crore,” the report said.

"Accordingly, APJL will export (w.e.f. 00.00 hrs Bangladesh time, of June 26, 2023), entire power generated from the 2x800 MW Godda plant on commercial basis, as per Power Purchase Agreement, directly to Bangladesh through the dedicated 400 kV transmission lines, with net capacity of 1,496 MW," it said.
