Guarseed futures prices upgrade due to spot demand

New Delhi, Guarseed prices rose by Rs 18 to Rs 5,073 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday as speculators increased the size of their deals amid a firm trend in the spot market. Guarseed contract for October delivery rose by Rs 18 or 0.35 per cent to Rs 5,073 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange in which 45,990 lots were traded. According to market sources, the rise in guarseed prices was mainly due to speculators increasing their deals, firm trend in the spot market and lower supplies from producing regions.
