Bodoland Space Education Program installs Space labs in 15 schools across Assam’s BTR

Through the Bodoland Space Education Program, 15 schools in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam now have dedicated space laboratories, integrating space subjects into the curriculum. The newest school to join the effort was Tamulpur Higher Secondary School, which celebrated its first National Space Day on August 23 and opened the Haladhar Ujir Memorial Space Laboratory. AMCH Dibrugarh named First Rare Disease Center of Excellence in Northeast India

In accordance with the National Policy for Rare Diseases (NPRD), 2021, the Government of India has made Assam Medical College & Hospital (AMCH), Dibrugarh, a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Rare Diseases. In a formal statement released on Tuesday, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Rare Disease Cell) approved AMCH's inclusion as one of the top government tertiary institutions with resources for rare disease diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.
