Assam Rifles provided immediate medical assistance to an injured civilian at Mimi Company Operating Base, reaffirming its commitment towards humanitarian assistance and community welfare in remote areas. Mr Pintu Banerjee, a construction worker from Khongka Village, sustained a deep cut injury to his head when a tree accidentally fell on him at a construction site. He reported to Mimi Company Operating Base with active bleeding and was promptly attended to at the MI Room. The Nursing Assistant administered immediate first aid under sterile conditions.
