New Delhi: The government on Saturday allowed the use of the low-cost steroid drug dexamethasone as an alternative to methylprednisolone to treat coronavirus patients with moderate and severe symptoms. New Delhi: The results for class 10th and class 12th UP board examinations have been released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad on Saturday. The UPMSP declared the results at upmsp.educ.in or upresults.nic.in. The students waiting for the results can also receive their scorecard on mobile phones via SMS. Class 10th students can receive their results by sending ‘UP10ROLLNUMBER’ to 56263, while the class 12th students have to send ‘UP12ROLLNUMBER’ on the same number. Nearly 1,100 teams comprising two members each have been formed to conduct the mega exercise. This is the biggest practice of coronavirus screening in the national capital. According to the 2011 Census, there were over 34.35 lakh households in the national capital, including 33.56 lakh in urban areas and 79,574 in rural areas. New Delhi:  Authorities in Delhi will undertake a mammoth exercise from today to determine the spread of the coronavirus disease amid a rising number of cases in the national capital, which is one of the worst affected in the country. Over 18,000 people tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours in India, the biggest one-day jump in the country since the pandemic was first reported in January. Gurgaon: Gurgaon residents must keep their windows shut as precaution against a possible attack from crop-destroying desert locusts, the city administration said on Friday as a swarm was sighted at an adjoining Haryana district. The administration has asked them to make clanging noise by beating utensils to ward the insects off. "A swarm of locusts has reached Mahendragarh district and is expected to reach Rewari border.
