Homegrown consumer technology brand Mivi has entered India’s smartphone market with the launch of Mivi One 5G, targeting young and value-conscious consumers in the sub-₹15,000 segment. The smartphone is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 5G Mobile Platform and comes with a 6000mAh battery, 50MP dual-camera setup, Pure Android 16 and Mivi Clear Talk technology.
The device will be available on Flipkart from October 8, with midnight sales scheduled on the platform. It is priced at ₹14,999 for 4GB+128GB, ₹15,999 for 6GB+128GB and ₹16,999 for 8GB+128GB. During the Big Billion Day sale, prices start at ₹11,999, including applicable bank offers. The phone will be offered in five colours.
Mivi One features a 6.745-inch HD+ 90Hz display, 18W PD 2.0 charging, 8MP front camera, IP64 protection and a 9.15mm body weighing 210 grams. It will receive updates through Android 18.In Kolkata, the launch places Mivi in a highly competitive affordable 5G smartphone segment, where consumers are increasingly comparing performance, battery capacity, software experience and after-sales support alongside price.Mivi said the smartphone is manufactured in India and announced plans to develop an indigenously engineered smartphone within the next 12 months.
