With the assembly elections approaching, pre-poll violence in Assam has intensified. The Congress party has accused the BJP of attacking its members while they campaigned for candidate Bidisha Neog in the Maligaon-Pandu area of Guwahati, part of the Jalukbari Assembly constituency, on Wednesday evening.
