On Sunday, a guy leaped from the recently opened Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu in Guwahati. It is thought that he perished in the Brahmaputra River. Rabil Ali, a native of Keotkuchi village in the Barpeta district, has been identified as the man. Ali had been employed as a laborer when the bridge connecting the city's north and south banks over the Brahmaputra River was being built.
