Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today allotted departments to four ministers who were sworn in with him on May 12. Rameswar Teli of the BJP was allocated Transformation and Development, Labour Welfare, and Tea Tribes & Adivasi Welfare departments. Similarly, Ajanta Neog of the BJP was allotted Women and Child Development and Tourism portfolios. Atul Bora of NDA ally AGP was given Panchayat and Rural Development, Implementation of Assam Accord, Excise, and Border Protection & Development departments, while Charan Boro from another NDA ally BPF got Transport and Welfare of Bodoland portfolios.
