Drugs Worth Rs 39.4 Crore Seized In Guwahati, Two Arrested

Drugs worth an estimated Rs 39.4 crore were seized in Guwahati, and two suspected drug traffickers were arrested, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Thursday. Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a truck near the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) and conducted a search. The operation led to the seizure of 10 soap cases containing heroin and 1,40,000 YABA tablets.
