While cervical cancer remains a major health concern for Indian women, uterine fibroids, a more common yet often ignored condition, affect nearly 40% of women across the country. Despite causing heavy menstrual bleeding, pain, and discomfort, fibroids are frequently misdiagnosed or dismissed as routine menstrual issues, delaying timely treatment.
