Xiaomi on Friday announced the expansion of its Premium Service Centre network to 15 new cities across India, strengthening its nationwide after-sales ecosystem. The move marks the second phase of the company’s plan to set up 100 such centres, with all new facilities scheduled to be operational in Q1 2026, taking the total count to 25. As part of the rollout, Xiaomi launched its Premium Service Centre in Kolkata, alongside centres in cities including Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada, Amritsar and Lucknow. The centres are designed as experience hubs offering faster repairs, dedicated technical expertise, product interaction zones and paperless operations aligned with sustainability goals.
Chief Operating Officer Sudhin Mathur said the expansion builds on strong customer response to the first 10 centres launched in 2025, where nearly 95% of devices were serviced within 24 hours, with minimal repeat visits and escalations. He emphasised the company’s focus on delivering reliable, experience-led after-sales support as device usage cycles grow longer.
From a Kolkata market perspective, the launch is expected to significantly improve service accessibility in eastern India, a key growth region for Xiaomi. The new centre is likely to boost customer confidence, strengthen brand loyalty and support increased device retention in the region’s competitive smartphone market.
