Sony expands True RGB TV lineup with 115-inch flagship BRAVIA 9II

Sony India has expanded its premium television portfolio with the launch of the 115-inch (292 cm) BRAVIA 9II, the company’s largest-ever BRAVIA television, as it strengthens its presence in the premium large-screen home entertainment segment. The unveiling was led by Sony India Managing Director Sunil Nayyar and Nezu Daisuke, Global Head of Home Product Business Division, Sony Corporation.

With the launch, Sony’s True RGB BRAVIA lineup now spans screen sizes from 55 inches (140 cm) to 115 inches (292 cm). The company said the new flagship television is powered by its proprietary RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro and BRAVIA XR Processor, delivering enhanced colour accuracy, contrast and cinematic picture quality. The model also features a 12-speaker Acoustic Multi-Audio+ system and runs on Google TV, with Gemini integration planned through a future over-the-air software update.

Sony said the expansion aligns with its “Cinema is Coming Home” vision, promoted in collaboration with filmmaker and brand ambassador S.S. Rajamouli. The company stated that the complete True RGB portfolio is designed to deliver studio-grade visuals and immersive sound across premium screen sizes for movies, gaming and live sports.

The BRAVIA 9II range includes 75-inch, 85-inch and the newly introduced 115-inch models, while the BRAVIA 7II series is available in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch variants. The 115-inch BRAVIA 9II carries an MRP of ₹45.99 lakh with a best-buy price of ₹28.99 lakh and will be available soon. Other models are already available through Sony retail outlets, ShopatSC.com, leading electronics stores and major e-commerce platforms.

In Guwahati, the expanded premium BRAVIA lineup could strengthen Sony’s position in the region’s growing luxury consumer electronics segment. Rising demand for premium home entertainment products, particularly among affluent households, hospitality establishments and corporate buyers, has encouraged retailers in Guwahati to broaden their high-end television offerings, with festive-season demand expected to further support sales of large-screen premium models.
