British motorcycle manufacturer Norton Motorcycles has unveiled its new 450 cc urban motorcycle, marking the next phase of the brand’s global resurgence under the ownership of India’s TVS Motor Company. Designed for modern city riding, the vehicle features a liquid-cooled 454 cc single-cylinder engine producing 45 Nm of torque, built on a lightweight aluminium frame and equipped with an 8-inch TFT touchscreen display.
The upcoming launch aligns with Norton’s broader strategy to expand into key international markets, including India and the United States. Powered by TVS Motor Company’s global R&D and engineering capabilities, official sales for the motorcycle are scheduled to begin in 2027, with the formal model name to be announced ahead of launch.
In regional markets like Guwahati, where premium mid-capacity motorcycles are seeing a sharp rise in demand among young professionals and touring enthusiasts, the launch is expected to generate strong interest. With North East India witnessing expanding retail networks for high-end two-wheelers, Norton’s upcoming entry into India via TVS Motor’s ecosystem positions Guwahati as a strategic gateway for the iconic British marque’s footprint in the region.
