Škoda Auto India has expanded the appeal of its premium sedan lineup by introducing two new exclusive dual-tone colour options—Shimla Green and Steel Grey—for the Slavia Monte Carlo. The limited-edition variants will be restricted to just 200 units and will be available with both the 1.0-litre TSI automatic and 1.5-litre TSI DSG automatic powertrains, the company announced. The latest addition aims to strengthen the Slavia Monte Carlo’s premium positioning by offering customers greater exclusivity while retaining the model’s sporty styling, blacked-out exterior elements, signature Monte Carlo design cues, black-and-red cabin theme and feature-rich interior. Brand Director Ashish Gupta said the Slavia Monte Carlo has been well received for its distinctive design, premium appeal, engaging driving dynamics and motorsport-inspired character, adding that the company will continue to strengthen its sedan portfolio in line with evolving customer aspirations.
The sedan continues to be powered by Škoda’s turbo-petrol TSI engines. Buyers can opt for the 1.0-litre TSI engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm, paired with a six-speed torque converter automatic, or the 1.5-litre TSI engine delivering 150 PS and 250 Nm, mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission. The larger engine also features Active Cylinder Technology and Plasma-Coated Cylinder Liners to improve fuel efficiency and thermal management. The Monte Carlo badge pays tribute to Škoda Auto’s century-long motorsport legacy and its association with Rallye Monte Carlo since 1912. Recently, the company’s India lineup—including the Slavia Monte Carlo, Kushaq Monte Carlo, Kylaq, Kodiaq and Octavia RS—set an India and Asia Book of Records for the fastest multi-car relay by a single manufacturer at the CoASTT circuit in Coimbatore, completing the challenge in 12 minutes and 30.97 seconds.
The introduction of the limited-edition Slavia Monte Carlo is expected to generate strong interest among premium sedan buyers in Guwahati, where demand for feature-rich and performance-oriented vehicles has been steadily rising. With the city witnessing increasing preference for premium automotive brands, the exclusive 200-unit offering could attract enthusiasts seeking a distinctive ownership experience, while also strengthening Škoda’s presence through its expanding dealer and customer network in the Northeast. Škoda Auto India currently offers four models—Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq—and is present in 189 cities with more than 340 customer touchpoints. The company recorded 72,665 vehicle sales in 2025, registering a 107 per cent year-on-year growth. Globally, Škoda Auto delivered over 1.04 million vehicles in 2025 and continues to expand its presence across key international markets.
