The Calcutta High Court on Friday canceled the recruitment of 1,911 Group D employees in various schools in West Bengal while hearing the multi-crore recruitment scam. "A bench headed by Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay directed the West Bengal School Service Commission to cancel the recommendations given to 1,911 candidates," said advocate Firdaus Shamim, appearing for the petitioners.
