In order to pay tribute to 40 CRPF martyrs in Pulwama, the Praktan Sainik Sangh and Astha Foundation jointly organized Martyr’s Day in front of the Patton Tank located at Sagardighi Square in Cooch Behar. The members of the organization paid their respects by offering flowers to the photos of the brave martyrs at around 10 o’clock in the morning and lighting candles along with them.
Besides the members of the organization, many ordinary people participated in this event and paid tribute to the brave martyrs. On the occasion of this Martyrs’ Day, some saplings were given to the people by the organization. In addition, clothes were given to twenty poor people on this Martyrs’ Day.
