According to reports, wild elephants entered the farmlands at around 2 a.m. in the Jaldumur area near Sahudangi under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block. An incident of fire was reported from DS Colony under Ward No. 34 of the Siliguri where a house was completely brought down to ashes.
