3.5 magnitude earthquake hits Guwahati

According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred northeast of Guwahati at 12:27 PM and the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.5 which occurred in Guwahati during the afternoon period. “Today at 12:27 PM an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 occurred 62 km northeast of Guwahati. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km below the surface,” said the National Center for Seismology. According to sources, no damage was reported in the city. People were safe, no casualties were reported.
