Assam’s State Zoo to be renovated

The Assam State Zoo-cum-Botanical Garden, Guwahati, is to be renovated for better infrastructure ensuring the improvement of tourist amenities and the well-being of captive animals. According to the sources, the Botanical Garden is to be modified completely from its parking zone to more other inclusion inside the campus. Veterinary facilities are to be included for animals’ health and injuries. Also for the renovation of the Zoo, authorities are to create new spaces like auditorium for carrying out events for awareness program, special talks and other events with increasing greenery inside the campus.
