Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, "We have reconstituted the four new districts, and it is co-terminus with assembly constituencies declared by the Election Commission under delimitation.” The four new districts that are to be created are Hojai, Biswanath, Tamulpur and Bajali.
