Man gets arrested for transmitting sensitive information to Pakistan, Assam

Assam Police in collaboration with Odisha Police’s Crime Investigation Department arrested a man from Assam’s Nagaon district on suspicion of transmitting sensitive information of the nation. According to the sources, the suspected spy is identified as Iqbal Hussain. The spy was from his residence in Genduwa Pothar village in Nagaon’s Batadrava area, Assam. Hussain had earlier worked in Bengaluru and then came back to Assam. Further, Hussain have been exchanging information to a Pakistani national named Abdul Hale.

SC to start hearing of Citizenship Act for Assam

Ahead of Puja, people consuming prasad fell ill

A report came into sources; over 100 people have been suffering from food poisoning after consuming Prasad ahead of puja in Lakhimpur district, Assam.
