India and Canada ongoing raw, 2023

Due to the ongoing raw between India and Canada since past few days there have been tensed environment between the countries. Earlier, Canada PM alleged India for the killing of Sikh separatist Nijjar since then both the countries are on word of conflicts. To which Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar replied, saying that there were a climate of violence and an atmosphere of intimidation against Indian diplomats in Canada, where the presence of Sikh separatist groups has frustrated New Delhi. Jaishankar added, "Because there is freedom of speech, to make threats and intimidate diplomats, I don't think that's acceptable.”

Assam-Meghalaya border conflicts again

In between the ongoing between Assam & Meghalaya, recently new tension has been erupted in Lapangap village, situated on Meghalaya’s West Jaintia Hills district from Assam’s West Karbi Anglong district. According to the sources, the village people from both the side has engaged into conflict with wielding traditional weapons like bows, arrows, and catapults. Further, the law enforcement personnel from both states responded to the newly emerged clashes on Wednesday to bring the situation under control.

Manas National Park to reopen, invites its visitor from Oct 1, 2023

Assam, Manas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is all set to reopen and welcome tourists for the 2023-2024 season which is to be started on October 1, 2023. According to the reports, the park was temporarily closed since June 5, 2023 due to the hit of monsoon season in the state, Assam.
