Guardians to complete admission process

Students who passed Madhyamik 2020 have been advised not to physically participate in the process of admission to Class XI. Their guardians will have to complete the formalities, education minister Partha Chatterjee said. Around 86.34 per cent of the examinees passed Madhyamik 2020, the results of which were declared on Wednesday. “The highest ever,” board president Kalyanmoy Ganguly said, referring to the percentage of the students who passed. India Tally Crosses 9.68 Lakh-mark

India recorded a total of 32,695 cases of coronavirus infections in a single day for the first time. Total number of cases 9,68,876 on Thursday, while the death toll climbed to 24,915 with 606 people succumbing to the disease, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
