In view of the proposed visit of union health minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the Mon police have issued a temporary traffic regulation for smooth vehicular movement. Sikkim State AIDS Control Society (SSACS) has announced the name of the winners of the short film competition held in Gangtok. Consumer Rights Organisation Wokha (CROW) accompanied by Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) and Lotha Youth Hoho conducted extensive checking at sand stockists within Wokha town on February 23, 2021. As many as 19 teachers of different government schools in Manipur were placed under suspension from their services in two days after they were found absent during education minister’s surprise inspections. Assam govt extends ‘disturbed area’ tag for 6 months from Feb 27

Ahead of state assembly polls, the Governor of Assam has declared the entire State of Assam as “Disturbed Area” upto 6 months beyond February 27, unless withdrawn earlier, reports The Sentinel Assam.
