India logged 2,85,914 new coronavirus infections, taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 4,00,85,116. The death toll has climbed to 4,91,127 with 665 fresh fatalities, the data updated at 8 am.The active cases have decreased to 22,23,018 and comprise 5.55 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has decreased to 93.23 per cent.A reduction of 13,824 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours. Madhya Pradesh government have directed FIR against Amazon

The Madhya Pradesh government has directed the police to register FIR against Amazon and its owner for allegedly selling products, including shoes, with the image of the Indian national flag. "It has come to my notice that our national flag is used on products being sold by the online e-commerce platform Amazon. It is intolerable that even it (the national flag) has been used on shoes," Mr Mishra, who is the state government spokesman, told reporters. "I have directed Director General of Police (DGP) to file an FIR against Amazon's officials and owner," Mr Mishra added.

Two certificates, bearing registration numbers ISO 50001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 have been issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to the varsity.  "It is joyous news for us. This recognition from ISO has encouraged our university immensely," said vice-chancellor LK Nath.
