New Delhi, May 28: Guarseed prices rose by Rs 11 to Rs 5,133 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday as speculators increased the size of their deals amid a firm trend in the spot market. Guarseed contract for June delivery rose by Rs 11, or 0.21 percent, to Rs 5,133 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, with open interest trading in 52,065 lots. According to market sources, guarseed prices rose mainly due to speculators increasing their deals, firm trend in the spot market and lower supplies from producing regions.
