The Ministry of Development of Northeast Region (DoNER) reported an expenditure of Rs 9195.65 crore across various schemes aimed at developing the Northeastern Region (NER). Minister of State Dr. Sukanta Majumdar highlighted that under the strategy "Act East, Act Fast, Act First," the Ministry is actively working to position the NER as a growth engine for India.
