Akasa Air has became the first airline to start operations from the newly built terminal at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, marking an important step in the airport’s expansion. According to an official release, the airline operated its first flight from the new terminal on February 22, 2026. The flight departed from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai at 1:40 pm and landed in Guwahati at 4:45 pm.
