Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday launched yet another dole scheme under which financial assistance of Rs 15,000 will be given to women of Kapu community in the age group of 45-60. Deadline to link PAN and Aadhaar cards has been extended. Now you can link your PAN card and Aadhaar card till March 31, 2021. The old deadline to link PAN and Aadhaar was June 30, 2020. Now, by March 31, 2021 all Permanent Account Numbers (PAN) in India will have to be linked with respective Aadhaar numbers. If any person fails to connect his PAN number with Aadhaar, his PAN card will become inoperative within a month. New Delhi: Delhi reported 3,788 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, government data showed Wednesday evening, taking the total number of cases in the national capital to 70,390. Over the same 24 hours 64 deaths were linked to the infectious virus, taking the total number of deaths to 2,365. This translates to a mortality rate of 3.35 per cent, which is marginally higher than the national rate of 3.17 per cent. Dubai: An Indian businessman and his wife were brutally murdered by a Pakistani man inside their villa in Dubai during a break-in and robbery bid, according to a media report. Hiren Adhiya and Vidhi Adhiya, both in their 40s, were killed inside their villa at the Arabian Ranches. Dubai Police arrested the Pakistani man in less than 24 hours, Gulf News reported on Tuesday. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has extended the current lockdown with relaxations in the state from June 30 to July 31.  Announcing this at the end of a 3-hour all party meeting today, Ms Banerjee said, "The COVID-19 problem is spreading.
